My first choice class is full and I am on the waitlist. What is the chance I will get into the class? Unfortunately we can not guarantee any spaces will become available. Please consider having a 2nd choice class and remember, your best chance for getting your first choice is to always register by the early deadline, October 15th.
What is the QBL equipment fee? A QBL equipment fee of $5 per session will be included on your final invoice. This fee is applied to the increasing cost of supplying classroom equipment. The QBL equipment fee is in addition to any supply fee that the teacher may require, which is paid directly to the teacher at QBL.
Are the classrooms & dorms air conditioned?
Yes, all suites, dorm rooms & classrooms are air conditioned.
Are microwaves & coffee makers provided in the dorm rooms?
No, small appliances are not provided in the suites. Each suite is furnished with a full-size refrigerator and stove.
Are linens provided?
Yes, linens are provided including 1set of sheets, 1blanket, 1pillow, 1bath towel and 1washcloth.
I cannot arrive during the open registration hours. What do I do?
Go directly to the back entrance (parking lot side) of Residential Building B, #165. There will be instructions & contact information on the door to reach OCC staff who will provide you with your dorm & room assigment and keys. You will also need to check-in & register at the QBL Registration/Information Desk in Whitney Hall during the next open hours to receive your QBL information packet & classroom assignments.
I am registered for QBL. Can I come a day early ?

I have registered for Early Arrival. What do I do when I get to campus?

Can I arrange for a room next to my friend? Can I have a ground floor room? We will try to accomodate special requests to the best of our ability but they cannot be guaranteed. All special requests must be submitted by May 1, 2011.
If I have to cancel, can I get a refund? The $125 deposit per session is non-refundable. All cancellations must be submitted in writing by June 1st to be eligible for a refund. No refunds will be issued for any cancellations received after June 1st. Please check with your travel agent for cancellation insurance.
How do I contact a QBL participant in case
of emergency? Contact OCC Campus Safety at 315-498-2478.
How do I register for the QBL Tour Day? Call the Schweinfurth Art Center
to make tour reservations. Cost: TBD. Credit card payment is preferred.
Groups of 20 or more get a discounted rate: TBD. Advance registration & payment is required. Please go to the Visit QBL webpage for more information.
How do I find out the evening lecture schedule? Lectures are open to registered QBL participants. A schedule of lectures is included in participant registration packets and posted on the QBL Schedule webpage.
What
is my dorm assignment? You will be given your dorm and room assignment by OCC staff at the housing check in area, which is located in Residence Hall B (#165). Please note: you must check in at the QBL registration desk for your classroom assignment and registration packet.
I need directions to Onondaga Community College. There are directions to the campus on the
OCC website, www.sunyocc.edu.
Is there an admission for the Quilt Show?
What are the hours? General admission is $6. Registered QBL participants, Schweinfurth Art Center members and children
under 12 are free. The Quilt Show is open Sun. 7/17 - Thurs. 7/28 from 11:30am - 5:30pm and Tuesdays 7/19 & 7/26 from 7-9pm. The Quilt Show is closed on Saturday, July 23. Please go to the Visit QBL webpage for more information.
